DSWD, NANAY PARTYLIST CONTINUE RELIEF OPERATIONS IN FLOOD-HIT BARANGAYS IN SAN FERNANDO

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in partnership with Nanay Partylist, continued its relief operations on Saturday, July 26, by distributing 1,000 food packs to families affected by flooding in three barangays of the city.

The relief efforts covered the following areas:
• 300 food packs for Barangay Pandaras, distributed at the Santo Rosario Pau Covered Court in Santo Tomas town.
• 300 food packs for Barangay San Jose, handed out at the Panlumacan Covered Court.
• 400 food packs for Barangay Sto. Niño.

The initiative was led by Nanay Partylist consultant Mylyn Cayabyab, who appealed to Nanay Partylist Representative Florabel Yatco for aid.

According to Atty. Ananias Canlas, Jr., second nominee of Nanay Partylist and Executive Assistant to Vice Governor Dennis Pineda, the food packs were sourced from the DSWD and delivered through the assistance of the Pampanga provincial government.

With flooding still impacting many parts of the city, Nanay Partylist and DSWD vow to continue relief efforts in the coming days.
