DTI Tarlac conducts free seminars on Women’s Month – The Voice Newsweekly

The Department of Trade and Industry Tarlac Provincial Office in partnership with SM City Tarlac conducted seminars in celebration of Women’s Month.

Seminars on Entrepreneurial Mind-setting and Business Opportunity, Handicrafts, Home Furnishings, Processed Food, and Agri-business were conducted on March 15, 2023 at SM City Tarlac. Participants were a total of 80 students, employees, potential entrepreneurs, and MSMEs.

Seven women entrepreneurs from Tarlac were invited to share their insights on business opportunities as well as their entrepreneurial journey.

The participants, guest speakers, and facilitators during the Entrepreneurial Mind-setting Seminar and Business Opportunity Seminar inline with the Women’s Month Celebration.

“We hope this activity and the sharing of the resource speakers have inspired the participants to become entrepreneurs. We feel that they (speakers) represent most of the would-be and existing MSMEs,” Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist Ana Marie Tabamo said.

After the talk and open forum, the participants shared their favorite learnings from the seminar. (DTI Region 3)
