The local campaign period in Central Luzon kicked off smoothly on March 28, with no reported untoward incidents, ensuring a peaceful start to the election season.

PBGEN Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of PRO3, expressed optimism that the region will maintain this orderly atmosphere throughout the campaign period, which runs until May 10.
“We are hopeful that this peaceful atmosphere will continue throughout the campaign period until its final day,” PBGEN Fajardo said.

She assured the public that the Philippine National Police (PNP) remains committed to enforcing strict security measures for the 2025 National and Local Elections, including COMELEC and Law Enforcement Checkpoints, OPLAN Sita, and Simulation Exercises.

“The PNP, together with our partner agencies, is fully dedicated to ensuring a safe, orderly, honest, and peaceful election on May 12. We stand firm in protecting the sovereign will of the Filipino voters,” she added.
The PNP continues to monitor all election-related activities, reinforcing its commitment to upholding democracy and safeguarding both candidates and voters.
