Angeles City Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel on March 17, 2022 met with the representatives of The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) and City Health Officer Dr. Verona Guevarra to discuss about the programs of the city pertaining to HIV/AIDS.

The Angeles City Government, led by Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr., is providing free HIV testing, Syphilis and Hepatitis B screening at the Angeles City Reproductive Health and Wellness Center.

Mayor Lazatin strongly stands for inclusiveness, especially in terms of health care.
“That is why we do this kind of activity because we want everyone to have access to readily available and free medical services,” Mayor Lazatin said.

Despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19, Lazatin wants to ensure the health and welfare of all Angeleños, especially the vulnerable and marginalized. (Angeles City Information Office)
