Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo (left) receives “Gambul” a painting with Kulitan inscription as token of gratitude from Mabalacat-based artist Dodjie Aguinaldo.
The artwork is part of the displays in Aguinaldo’s very first solo art exhibit titled Mumunang Aslag at Galeria Olivia in Camalaig, Angeles City from January 11 to 30, 2022. Aguinaldo, founder of the Kalalangang Mabalacat (formerly known as Sining Mabalacat, is one of the few local artists who make use of manual and digital forms and media in creating art pieces.
