Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda has approved a food-for-work initiative in response to a request from barangay officials of Consuelo, Macabebe.

The program involves the cleaning and maintenance of a 10-kilometer stretch of the Pampanga Delta Dike, which faces Manila Bay and serves as a vital road for coastal residents.

Under this initiative, community members gain temporary employment while contributing to the upkeep of an essential infrastructure that benefits the entire barangay.
