Integrated resort, casino opens in Clark Freeport
Hann Casino Resort, tagged as the ‘millionaire’s playground’ and seated in the heart of Clark Freeport, recently had its soft opening.
Hann Philippines Inc. Chairman and CEO Daesik Han, together with Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Chairman Edgardo Pamintuan, and Hann Philippines Inc. Assistant Vice President for Corporate Planning, Development and Communication Agnes Liwanag led the ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the soft launching of the said facility. They were joined by Hann Philippines, Inc. Assistant Vice President for Finance Mitchell Estacio, Hann Philippines, Inc. Assistant Vice President for Facilities Management and Engineering Vic Sia, Hann Philippines, Inc. Assistant Vice President for Surveillance & Security Jan Andres Struwig, and Swissotel Clark and Widus Hotel General Manager Tarek Aouini.
CDC President and CEO Manuel R. Gaerlan, who was one of the guests, expressed his elation over the development of the integrated resort and casino inside Clark Freeport.
Hann Resort Casino is part of the expansion project of the Widus Group. The soft launch is a component of the development project’s initial phase.
An addition to various tourism attractions in this Freeport, Hann Casino Resort promises exhilarating activities and experiences such as gaming, golfing, nature and outdoors, entertainment, and hospitality in an opulent resort setting. It also features state-of-the-art facilities and amenities, posh dining outlets, and elegant retail shopping. Meanwhile, its casino boasts some 200 gaming tables and 800 slot machines.
Also in the resort complex are Clark Marriott Hotel, Widus Hotel and Swissotel Clark. Once fully operational, their entire expansion project is expected to generate about 1,000 employment opportunities.
