Inclusivity will be this year’s lead theme in the much-awaited “Parul San Fernando” (Christmas lights and lantern displays). This was revealed during the lantern makers’ meeting on July 25, 2022 at Heroes Hall.

Joebee Henson and Richie Bondoc, City focal persons for Tourism and Investments Promotion, respectively, said that “inclusivity” means highlighting icons and faces of Fernandinos from all sectors and their contribution to the society to the designs.

This theme will be supported by a message on “pamagbayu” (transformation) and “aslag” (light/brightness).

Next week, over a dozen lantern makers are set to present their designs to the project’s technical committee before proceeding to the procurement process. (CSFP City Information Office)
