Insular Life (InLife) ushered in the Chinese New Year with its Amorsolo Circle Front Seat Client Forum and Market Outlook, bringing together experts to discuss investment trends, financial risks, and Feng Shui perspectives for 2026.
Held at the Fairmont Hotel in Makati City, the event—titled “2026 Prosperity Perspectives: Wealth, Protection, and Fortune”—gathered members of the Amorsolo Circle, InLife’s exclusive program for valued policyholders, for an evening of insights on navigating the year ahead.
The forum opened with a discussion on the often-overlooked financial impact of health emergencies. InLife Chief Product and Innovation Officer Jose Ang highlighted how critical illnesses such as heart attack, stroke, and cancer can disrupt long-term financial plans, as medical expenses may force families to liquidate assets prematurely. He underscored the need for health protection solutions that provide immediate financial support while promoting wellness.
On the local front, InLife Fund Manager Ron Lantin reported that Philippine equities faced challenges in 2025, with the Philippine Stock Exchange index declining by 7.29 percent. Despite this, he noted that select stocks continued to perform well, offering opportunities for long-term investors as the market stabilizes.
Providing a global perspective, ATRAM Group Chief Investment Strategist Phil Hagedorn said the world economy is transitioning “from volatility to normalization,” urging investors to adopt diversified and cycle-aware strategies. He pointed to opportunities in Japan, Europe, and select Asian markets, while emphasizing the continued importance of US quality equities and the attractiveness of Philippine fixed income. He also highlighted long-term growth themes such as artificial intelligence, energy, and automation.
Adding a cultural dimension, Feng Shui expert Patrick Lim Fernandez shared insights on the Year of the Fire Horse, which he described as a period marked by intensity, innovation, and growth. He explained the “Triad of Luck”—Heaven, Earth, and Human luck—stressing that personal actions remain key in shaping outcomes.
InLife Chief Agency Officer Stephen Ong expressed appreciation to Amorsolo Circle members, reaffirming the company’s commitment to providing not only financial solutions but also meaningful guidance and experiences.
The Amorsolo Circle offers exclusive benefits such as curated learning events, priority servicing, dining rewards, and annual medical exams, supporting members in achieving financial well-being with confidence.
