
The Black Eagles Aerobatic Team of the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) will be performing over the skies of Pampanga from the Basa Air Base in Floridablanca, Pampanga on August 15, 2022.
The 5th Fighter Wing of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) said the Black Eagles will be holding their final rehearsal on August 13 and the airshow proper on August 15.
However, as much as the PAF wants to accommodate spectators at the Basa Air Base for the event, the maximum capacity of the Air Force Fighter Town has been met in consideration of safety and health protocol to prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus and other rainy season infections.

The “Black Eagles Airshow” final rehearsal and airshow proper will be livestreamed in the Philippine Air Force and 5th Fighter Wing official Facebook pages.
The Black Eagles, officially the 53rd Air Demonstration Group, is the nickname of the flight display team of the ROKAF.

The Black Eagles fly T-50Bs, South Korean-made supersonic advanced jet trainers and light combat aircraft developed by the Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI).
A group of nine Black Eagles and two ROKAF C-130s flying in from Seoul landed at the Clark International Airport in March 2017 for refueling and maintenance prior to proceeding to Langkawi in Malaysia for the International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) 2017.
