The Local Government Unit of Magalang has commended Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) for its outstanding performance in the 2025 World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI).
Through Resolution No. 38, s. 2025, PSAU was recognized for placing 14th worldwide, 3rd in the Philippines, and 1st in Central Luzon under the SDG-Based Responses to Global Challenges category. The recognition highlights PSAU’s commitment to sustainability, education, and community empowerment.
Representing PSAU during the awarding were Dr. Geraldine C. Sanchez, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Extension and Training; Dr. Amalia C. Briones, Director for Extension and Training; and Ms. Jocelyn D. Baluyut, Community Development Officer I.
