Likha ng Central Luzon Hybrid Trade Fair generates P10.9-M in sales

Likha ng Central Luzon (LCL) Hybrid Trade Fair 2021 generated about P10.9 million in sales.

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) disclosed that about P5.33 million was sold in physical stores in select malls from October 13 to 17 while P5.6 million came from online selling.

“The 23rd LCL continued this year through a hybrid trade fair style to enable the participant micro small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) to exhibit their quality products in both online and physical platforms,” DTI Regional Director Leonila Baluyut said.

Based on initial report, Pampanga generated the highest sales among the seven provinces from the physical stores with about P2.18 million. It was followed by Bataan- P922,301; Zambales-P866,330; Aurora-P626,342; Bulacan-368,863; Nueva Ecija-P251,280; and Tarlac-P106,187.

In terms of online sales, Bulacan got about P5.47 million while Zambales had P136,400.

Baluyut shared that due to positive sales figures, the trade fair will continue up to October 31 through LCL’s online selling portal accessible through Facebook and official website.

LCL Hybrid Trade Fair 2021 is organized by DTI in partnership with PhilExport, Regional Development Council, Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation Inc., SM and WalterMart. (PIA 3)
