The Mabalacat City Government boosted its freelance community sector through its first virtual assistant workshop program held at the Mabalacat City College on Friday, August 5.
The free basic virtual assistant training program was staged by the MCG – Management Information System Office in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and specialized training organization XCEL HUB.
Roxanne Lineses of XCEL Hub led the workshop on data management and analytics participated in by some 50 freelancers.
Basic navigation of virtual assistance tools and resumé writing were also included in the training program to give a holistic approach and prepare the participants in pursuing jobs online.
The Mabalacat City government seeks to elevate professional development of the freelance community in the city and help expand their options for online job opportunities.
