The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has given the Local Government Unit of Magalang, headed by Mayor Romulo Pecson, an Anti-Drug Abuse Council Special Award.

The award is in Recognition of the LGU’s successful adoption of the national government’s anti-drug campaign through accelerated efforts and exemptional performance in preventing the proliferation of illegal drugs in Magalang, Pampanga.

Mayor Pecson received the award on September 28 in the recent Provincial Peace and Order and Anti Drug Abuse Council Meeting via Zoom headed by Pampanga Gov. Dennis Delta Pineda. (Municipality of Magalang)
