City of San Fernando Mayor Edwin ‘EdSa’ Santiago led the wreath-laying ceremony in commemoration of the 80th death anniversary of Jose Abad Santos on Monday, May 2, at the Heroes Hall.

Mayor EdSa was joined by the descendants of Abad Santos including Mario Abad Santos-Benipayo, Desiree Ann Cua-Benipayo, Divina Espiritu, Noe Abad Santos, and Amanda Gana.

Abad Santos served the country as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court during the term of President Manuel Quezon.

The City Tourism Office organized a virtual special screening of “Honor: The Legacy of Jose Abad Santos” which was viewed by employees of the local government unit.
