Mayor Carmelo ‘Jon’ Lazatin II expressed heartfelt gratitude to the employees of the Angeles City Government for their unwavering dedication, integrity, and care in serving every Angeleño.
During the Loyalty Awards Ceremony 2026, city workers who have devoted many years to public service were recognized for their commitment. Mayor Lazatin emphasized that true service is measured not just by years of work, but by the depth of care and honesty in performing one’s duties.
“Mas mahalaga ang loyalty sa serbisyo kaysa sa loyalty sa pulitiko,” he said, highlighting that while leadership may change over time, the role of city employees remains crucial as the backbone of an effective and efficient government.
He added, “Ang inyong sipag, tiyaga, at dedikasyon ang pundasyon ng patuloy na pag-unlad ng lungsod. Ipagpatuloy ninyo ang pagbibigay ng serbisyong may puso at paninindigan—ang paggawa ng tama, higit sa kung ano ang madali o nakasanayan.”
Mayor Lazatin encouraged all staff to continue serving with principle and heart, and extended his warmest thanks and congratulations to all Angeles City Government employees for inspiring the delivery of genuine, people-centered service.
