Mayor Pogi demands 10-15 min emergency response

Since every minute of delay could mean the possible loss of human life, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. demands that emergency response be within a maximum of 10-15 minutes.

To ensure the 10-15-minute response time, Lazatin instructed Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (ACDRRMO) Rudy Simeon to deploy ambulances in strategic places in the four corners (north, east, west and south) of Angeles City.

“This is to ensure easy response to emergency calls,” Lazatin said. Members of the ACDRRMO were deployed at the Caltex Gas Station in Barangay Pulung Cacutud, the stoplight at Barangay Pulungbulu, BPI in Barangay Balibago and the police outpost in Barangay Anunas near Burger King.

For any emergency, here are the 24/7 hotlines of the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office: 0917-851-9581 and 0998-842-7746. (Angeles CIO)
