The One Town One Product store (OTOP) of the city government will host various trade fairs this “Ber” season.
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. wanted to intensify the promotion of local products which deserve the spotlight.
To check on the Gawang Angeleño products that will be featured in the coming trade fairs,Chief Adviser and Tactician IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel and Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer Irish Bonus-Llego visited Impact Balibago Arts and Crafts, owned by Julio Pamintuan.
“We will fully support our local entrepreneurs to further introduce them not just nationwide but worldwide. Lalo na po ngayon na nalalapit na naman ang Pasko, pwede po ang mga Gawang Angeleño products natin na pang-regalo o souvenir,” Lazatin said.
The OTOP store will also take part to Fiestang Kuliat on October 17 to 26, 2022 at the Museo Ning Angeles, Heritage District.
It will also participate the annual Christmas bazaar “100 Days of Happiness” by SM Supermalls on September 16 to December 15, 2022.
And in the celebration of Organic Agriculture Month in November scheduled on November 21 to 23, 2022 at the Museo Ning Angeles, Heritage District.
Among the inauguration promises of Mayor Lazatin is to revitalize the OTOP and extend avenues to introduce more to a larger market.
This year OTOP store has installed a new kiosk at the Prime City Hotel, where Gawang Angeleño products are displayed.
To date, there are 21 existing member-merchants in the OTOP store, from its 12 initial member-merchants in 2019. (ANGELES CIO)
