Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. on July 11, 2022 conducted an ocular inspection at the Angeles City Reproductive Health and Wellness Center to assess the areas that need to be improved.
Mayor Lazatin instructed City Engineer Donato Dizon to renovate and repair some areas at the RHWC to make the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases accessible to Angeleños.
The mayor stated, “This administration strongly stands for inclusivity especially in terms of health care. This is why we will renovate and repair the RHWC, because we want everyone to have access to readily available and free medical services.”
Lazatin also ordered Sanitation Division Chief Alvin Dingal to polish the acquisition of health cards for the workers in the entertainment sector as the city government aims to intensify their safety while working in the said field.
RHWC provides free consultation, treatment and medicines to Angeleños who are diagnosed with STDs.
