Mayor Pogi leads inspection of Reproductive Health and Wellness Center

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr., together with Chief Adviser and Tactician IC Calaguas, on May 25, 2022 conducted an ocular inspection at the Angeles City Reproductive Health and Wellness Center to assess the areas that need to be improved.

Mayor Lazatin instructed City Engineer Donato Dizon to renovate and repair some areas at the RHWC to make the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases accessible to Angeleños.

“This administration strongly stands for inclusivity especially in terms of health care. This is why we will renovate and repair the RHWC, because we want everyone to have access to readily available and free medical services,” Mayor Lazatin said.

Lazatin also ordered Sanitation Division Chief Alvin Dingal to polish the process the acquisition of health cards for the workers in the entertainment sector as the city government aims to intensify their safety while working in the said field.

Calaguas also coordinated with General Services Officer-in-Charge and concurrent Business Permit and Licensing Division Chief Evangeline Malonzo, to procure the necessary equipment and medicines for the improvement of RHWC.

RHWC provides free consultation, treatment and medicines to Angeleños who were diagnosed with STDs.
