Mayor Pogi, Widus Foundation sign MOA for computerization of RLMMC, RHUs

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr., together with the representatives of Widus Foundation Inc. and Widus Philippines Inc., on December 1, 2021 signed a memorandum of agreement for the computerization and integration of the hospital operation and management information system of Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC) and six Rural Health Units in the city.

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin, Jr. and Widus Foundation Executive Director Ms. Neki Liwanag signed the Memorandum of Agreement for the computerization and integration of the hospital operation and management information system of Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC) and six Rural Health Units in the city. Mayor Lazatin recently led the groundbreaking ceremony of the 4-storey building of the RLMMC which is set to bring more health services to Angeleños and nearby communities.

This hospital building that will have P100 million worth of state-of-the art medical equipment is a dream come true for Lazatin, and for his father Mayor Carmelo “Tarzan” Lazatin, according to the mayor.

Apart from this, the city government is also acquiring additional dialysis machines to address the needs of Angeleños, especially those in the marginalized sector.
