Mayor Vilma suspends afternoon classes today, September 2 City of San Fernando Mayor Vilma Caluag suspended afternoon classes in ALL LEVELS in PUBLIC AND PRIVATE schools due to PAGASA’s warning and forecast regarding expected scattered rain showers and thunderstorms that may be caused by Typhoon Henry, particularly this afternoon of September 2, 2022.

The typhoon, intensified by Habagat, or the Southwest Monsoon, will cause moderate to heavy rains over several areas of Luzon today that may cause flash floods.

Public and private schools have been given the discretion to dismiss morning classes.

Parents or guardians are also advised to take their children home.

Caluag advises all household members to prepare for rain showers and thunderstorms expected to be brought about by the typhoon. (CSFP CIO)
