Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo led the “Kayaduangan King Pamagaral” organized by the City Youth Development Office (CYDO) at Duquit High School, on April 14, 2023.

The event is highlighted with the distribution of school supplies project and symposium on Anti-drug, Mental health, and Sexual and Reproductive Health Awareness .

“Kayong mga kabataan, always remember that health is wealth. Tumulong kayo sa inyong mga pamilya. Hindi hadlang ang kahirapan sa edukasyon, nandito ako para tulungan kayo.” shared Garbo.

The CYDO project aims to educate and promote awareness to Mabalaquenians youth about mental health, information about safe and sexual reproductive health, introducing ways of coping mechanism and teach them to avoid from timely harmful activities. The project also provide them to equal access to school materials.

Reigning Miss Mabalacat Stacey David shared her story to give an inspiration and motivate the youth to always try their best in achieving their goals in life.

Also present at the event are CYDO head Jaira Lomahan, guest speakers Guidance Counselor II of SVNHS-SHS Anna Liza A. Rodriguez -Dela Cruz, RHU IV Nurse Eduardo Joson Jr., RHU II Nurse II Sheree Ann B. Tayag, and CYDO staff.(Mabalacat City News)
