The Mabalacat City Government, through the City Population, Gender and Development Office, released financial assistance to beneficiaries who are considered victim-survivors of Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

Released through the Cash-For-Protection Program on October 13, the cash aid, which amounts to Four Thousand Three Hundred Ninety Pesos (Php 4, 390.00) was given to 15 qualified GBV victim survivors to support their day-to-day needs.

The initiative was carried out with the assistance of the Mabalacat City Social Welfare and Development Offic, in partnership with Coalition Against Trafficking in Women – Asia Pacific (CATW-AP).
