Property giant Megaworld has earned a major distinction after being named among the “Best Workplaces in the Philippines 2026” by Great Place To Work—emerging as the only real estate company to make the prestigious list.
The recognition was announced during the recent Great Place To Work Philippines Awards, where Megaworld secured a spot among just 55 companies nationwide cited for fostering a high-trust, high-performance workplace culture.
Megaworld President and CEO Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso said the accolade reflects the company’s strong people-centered approach.
“We are honored by this recognition, but even more so by the trust our people place in us every day. Our vision has always been to uplift lives, impact society, and help shape the nation—and it is our people who bring this vision to life,” she said.
The “Best Workplaces” list is based on Great Place To Work’s Trust Index survey, which evaluates employee experience through key relationships with management, colleagues, and their work. The resulting score reflects how many employees view their organization as a great place to work.
According to Charles Plumley, the recognition highlights the power of trust-driven cultures in Filipino organizations.
“When trust is at the heart of a workplace, Filipino talent doesn’t just thrive—it leads. These organizations are setting the benchmark for the future of business leadership,” he said.
The latest honor adds to Megaworld’s growing list of global recognitions. The company began 2026 as one of TIME’s “Best Companies in Asia-Pacific” for the second consecutive year, following a milestone 2025 when it became the only Philippine developer included in the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For.
Megaworld also achieved its first Great Place To Work Certification with an impressive 98% employee approval rating and climbed to 42nd place in the Philippines’ Best Employers 2026 ranking by Statista.
Its parent firm, Alliance Global Group, Inc., was likewise recognized, improving its ranking in the same list.
With a strong culture anchored on trust and inclusion, Megaworld continues to position itself not only as a leader in real estate development, but also as one of the country’s most admired workplaces.
