Mentally- challenged individuals in Angeles City get health care

The Angeles City Government led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. sent four mentally-challenged individuals to the St. Claire Psychiatric Homecare in Bacolor, Pampanga for their medical treatment and health care.

As the city government continues to prioritize the welfare of every person in city, the four mentally-challenged individuals were rescued from the streets during the outreach operation of the City Social Welfare and Development Office.

This is in line with the directive of Mayor Lazatin for stricter implementation of the Anti-Mendicancy Law.

Chief Adviser and Tactician Director IC Calaguas personally coordinated with Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (ACDRRMO) Rudy Simeon to transport the them to the facility.

The health workers from Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC) and ACDRRMO, had provided them free X-ray and medical swab tests and all of them tested negative for COVID-19.

Lazatin vowed to continue supporting the said individuals with their basic needs after their recovery.(City Information Office Angeles City)
