The newly renovated Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital (DPMMH) in Guagua, Pampanga is ready to serve the public beginning Tuesday, December 27.
Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda led the inauguration of the newly constructed building together with DOH Usec Dr. Maria Francia Laxamana.
The new building includes an operating room, delivery room complex, emergency room, tertiary laboratory, 2D-echo, X-ray, and ultrasound rooms and other amenities.
Apart from these, the hospital has a Molecular Laboratory to obtain the most consistent and highest quality results of COVID19 test for the province.
According to Governor Delta, his administration aims to further improve the district hospitals in the province to provide upgraded medical and health servicesl for Kapampangans.
Also present at the event were DOH 3 Regional Director Corazon Flores, JBLMGH Medical Chief Dr. Monserrat Chichioco, 3rd District Board Member Ananias Canlas Jr. , 2nd District Board Member Sajid Khan Eusoof, ABC President Renato Mutuc, Lubao Mayor Esmeralda Pineda, Masantol Mayor Jose Antonio Bustos, Special Assistant to the Governor and PDRRMO Chief Angelina Blanco, Provincial Health Officer Zenon Ponce, DPMMH Chief of Hospital Dr Fleur Zapanta, doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff.
