Newly-built road improves transportation in Talavera, NE- The Voice Newsweekly

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of 2.55-kilometer road that facilitates better access to Barangay Homestead in Talavera, Nueva Ecija.

The newly-constructed road connects Barangay Homestead to the nearby Talavera Bypass Road, which is an alternate road that diverts vehicular traffic from the busy Daang Maharlika.

DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, commended a report from DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller A. Tolentino, said that the DPWH Nueva Ecija First District Engineering Office (DEO) paved a road in the community that residents and farmers in the area can now easily transport their agricultural products with the completion of the project.

“With the completion of the P28.42-million road concreting project, micro-entrepreneurs will have more opportunities and local farmers will be able to easily transport their agricultural products to market centers in Talavera town,” said Director Tolentino. (DPWH R3)
