Employees of the Provincial Government of Pampanga took part in the annual bloodletting activity led by the Provincial Health Office (PHO) on Tuesday, July 15, at the Benigno Aquino Hall, Capitol Grounds, City of San Fernando.

Spearheaded by the leadership of Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, the event was held in partnership with the Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital.

According to the PHO, each bag of donated blood has the potential to save a life. Donors underwent careful health screening to ensure safe and qualified contributions. The government also appealed for individuals with rare blood typesto participate, as these are in high demand.

The activity aims to collect up to 100 bags of blood, contributing to the province’s continuing efforts to strengthen public health and emergency response.
