The Pampanga provincial government will send 10,000 relief packs and a cash aid of P2,000 each for the 1,321 fishermen in Pola, Oriental Mindoro who recently affected by oil spill.


This was announced by Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda after the letter of request was approved in Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

Polo and eleven other towns experienced crisis after the fuel oil cargo of the MT Princess Empress spilled last February 28.

Pineda extend his gratitude to Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, National Chair of the Provincial Board Member League of the Philippines Board Member Atty. Jun Canlas and other Pampanga Board Members for approving assistance to the said town. (Gov. Delta FB Page)
