The show must go on. And it did! Rains may have poured towards the end of the presentation, but it was no reason to dampen or end the Palm Sunday staging of Pᴀɴᴀᴛᴀ ᴀᴛ Pᴀɴᴀʟᴀɴɢɪɴ tonight at MarQuee Mall.
Pᴀɴᴀᴛᴀ ᴀᴛ Pᴀɴᴀʟᴀɴɢɪɴ, which is a production of Sinukwan Kapampangan, led by Artistic Director Peter A. De Vera, is a dance drama depiction of the religious practices of Kapampangans during the Holy Week. It translates through traditional dance, music and prayer, the value of unity, understanding and faith.
In his short message, Kuliat Foundation Inc. President Lincoln M. Baluyut said he hopes for Pᴀɴᴀᴛᴀ ᴀᴛ Pᴀɴᴀʟᴀɴɢɪɴ to continue on because it serves as an inspiration for people to show concern for and look after each other, and of course to pray for each other. “Palagi tamu pu sanang mipapanantabe, mipapanyawup, mikakalugud at mipapangadi.”
Meanwhile, Sinukwan Kapampangan’s Peter A. De Vera thanked all those who continue to back the production, which is now on its 12th year.
