President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the distribution of livelihood assistance to Aeta communities at the Katutubo Village in Barangay Planas, Porac, Pampanga on October 3, 2025, in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Month.

An initial distribution of 60 carabaos and 30 garetas (carabao-drawn carts) was awarded to 127 Aetas who were successfully reintegrated through the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Pag-abot Program. The assistance seeks to support the Aeta community in sustaining traditional farming, their primary economic livelihood, and to lessen the risk of returning to street begging.

The program also featured the distribution of Brigada backpacks to students and the turnover of two Starlink units to the Katutubo Village Elementary School.
Launched in July 2023, the Pag-abot Program has carried out 24/7 operations in Metro Manila and expanded to Regions III and IV-A in 2025, with nationwide rollout planned in line with Executive Order No. 52 signed by the President.
Pampanga Governor Nanay Pineda welcomed the President alongside Second District Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and other local officials.
