In the Change of Command of the Philippine National Police on Monday, April 24, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. introduced PGen. Benjamin Acorda as the new PNP chief.
Acorda is the 29th chief of Philippine National Police.
PBBM also thanked the outgoing PNP chief, PGen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr., in his service as the first police chief of his leadership for eight months.
In his speech, the President announced his administration’s support to the police towards orderly and safe communities from crimes and violence.
