The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) heightened its monitoring and patrol operations at Sabang Beach on Black Saturday, April 4, 2026, following the influx of tourists and surfers in the area.

PCG personnel remain on alert to ensure the safety of beachgoers, continuously conducting coastal patrols and close monitoring of activities along the shoreline.

Authorities also reminded the public to avoid venturing into deep waters and to stay within designated swimming areas where Coast Guard responders are stationed.
