Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 dismantled a makeshift drug den and arrested five individuals during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Marcos Village, Mabalacat City, Pampanga on April 12.

Authorities identified the suspects, including the alleged drug den maintainer, and seized seven sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately seven grams, with an estimated value of ₱47,600. Also recovered were assorted drug paraphernalia, a cellular phone, and marked money.

The suspects are currently under temporary detention at the PDEA-3 jail facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, while the confiscated substances have been submitted for forensic examination.

The operation was conducted by PDEA provincial offices in Tarlac and Pampanga, in coordination with the Mabalacat City Police Station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against the arrested individuals.
