As of August 30, 2022, the Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama (KonSulTa) program of PhilHealth already has 55 partners that may provide primary care services to members in the Province of Pampanga.

This was revealed by PhilHealth Region 3 vice president Edgardo F. Faustino on Tuesday, August 30, during News @ Hues, Pampanga Press Club’s monthly forum, held in cooperation with Park Inn by Radisson Clark, which is the event’s official venue.

Developed and implemented by PhilHealth in 2021, KonSulTa is the expanded primary care benefit package that offers comprehensive outpatient health services that include initial and follow-up primary care consultations, and health screening and assessment, as well as access to selected diagnostic services and medicines.

According to Faustino, the KonSulta partners in Pampanga include all 11 district hospitals, 41 Rural Health Units (RHUs) province-wide, Mexico Community Hospital and 3 private facilities: Kapampangan Development Foundation in the City of San Fernando, St. John Paul II Medical Center in Magalang and
Quest Diagnostics Philippines in Balibago, Angeles City. The list is growing weekly.

Also present from PhilHealth at News @ Hues were: Dr. Rowena Zabat-San Mateo, Branch A manager; Dinna Gomez-Tolentino; Annabelle Imana, PhilHealth Angeles City Chief Social Insurance Officer; Elizabeth Banting-Capuli, City of San Fernando Chief Social Insurance Officer; and Monifer Bansil, PhilHealth Region 3 Public Affairs Unit Head.

PhilHealth’s Local Health Insurance Offices (LHIOs) in Angeles City and City of San Fernando continue to exert efforts to increase the number of Pampanga PhilHealth KonSulTa partner health care providers.
