Pinatubo Art Exhibit opens

The visual art exhibit hosted by the city government under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. is now open at the Marquee Mall exhibit area from July 18 to 31, 2022.

Dubbed as “Abu: Tapang Ampo Tetagan da reng Kapampangan”, artworks of 34 local artists’ from Gamat Kapampangan Art Group are being showcased in the exhibit.

The artworks are in commemoration of the Mt. Pinatubo eruption 31 years ago.

Present during the ribbon cutting ceremony today, were Honorable Vice-Mayor Ma. Vicenta Vega-Cabigting, Executive Assistant V Rafael Angeles, Angeles City Tourism Office-OIC Anneleen Sugui, General Manager Marquee Mall Peachy Atendido,Curator Norman Tiotuico, Gamat Kapampangan President Vittorio Pantig, and other local artists.

Among the artists who participated the exhibit are Jaysil Sararana, Marylou Millan, Ramcos Nulud, Armando M.Ramos, Lloyd Dacayanan, Alvin Dungca, Heidy Macabenta, Ailyn Gonzales, Arnel David Garcia, Edwin Dizon Catli, Gerald Alvarez Dela Cruz, Lauren Jascha A. Tolentino, Bianca Coreen Sangalang, Justine Velasquez, and Jeffrey Querido Gabatin.

Artists who also contributed were Dodjie Aguinaldo, Aurelio Quilala De Guzman, Arnold Salunga, Simkin de Pio, Andy Bondoc, William Dorado, Nicole Ann Cañizares, Jessica Julia Jose – Cariño, Jonathan Pili, Jojo La Madrid, Ronald Buenacifra Jr., Jay-R Malig, Arvin Manusig, Herminigildo Pineda, Francis Eliezer Garzon, Leonardo Tulabut, Ana Algabre Hernandez, Paul del Mundo, and Dr. Vitt Pantig.
