The Department of Interior and Local Government has conferred the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) to the Municipality of Porac, Pampanga.

The award was presented by Secretary Atty. Benjamin C. Abalos, Jr. and was received by Mayor Capil, Executive Assistant IV Trisha Angelie Capil and MLGOO Ly Franni Lacanlale. 

The SGLG is a testament of the hard work of the municipal officials and employees of Porac towards creating a ‘Mas Bayung Porac.’

Earlier, Porac also received the Seal of Child Friendly LGU and Gawad Kalasag. The municipality is also a Regional awardee of Gawad Makabata, Functional Anti Drug Abuse Council (ADAC), Special Award in DILG Subaybayin, Provincial Award for Functional Local Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC).
