The Police Regional Office 3 personnel joined the simultaneous conduct of “Bisikleta Iglesia 2023 ” patrol on Maundy Thursday, April 6 to ensure public safety around churches and pilgrimage sites in Central Luzon.

According to Central Luzon police director PBGen Jose S. Hidalgo Jr the activity is part of the security preparations of the entire Philippine National Police (PNP) and at the same time part of the cops’ observance of the Holy Week.

Chief Regional Community Affairs and Development Division PCol. Maritess A. Salvadora mentioned that around 100 police personnel from the Regional Headquarters, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 and Pampanga Police Provincial Office participated in the activity which was replicated in the different provincial and city police offices region wide.

Hidalgo also ordered earlier the deployment of more than 1,000 PRO3 personnel to secure the churches, tourist destinations, terminals and other places of public convergence in the region for the Holy Week and summer vacation. (Police Regional Office 3)
