PRO3 DEPLOYS 2,000 NIGHT PATROLLERS ACROSS CENTRAL LUZON TO FIGHT CRIME

In line with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s directive and the order of PNP Chief PGen Rommel Francisco Marbil, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has launched intensified, intelligence-led, and target-specific operations to strengthen security, deter criminal activity, and ensure heightened police presence in key areas of Central Luzon.

According to PRO3 Regional Director PBGen Jean S. Fajardo, the deployment of over 2,000 night patrollers is part of the Philippine National Police’s broader campaign to maintain peace and order, in accordance with the President’s marching order for a safer and more disciplined nation.

“These intensified operations are our direct response to the President’s call for a safer society. We are focusing on areas with high security risks and utilizing all available resources to keep our communities secure. Public safety is our top priority,” PBGen Fajardo emphasized.

Beginning the night of May 28, more than 2,000 night patrollers were deployed across urban centers, provincial capitals, commercial districts, transport terminals, and other high-traffic areas in the region. These patrol teams consist of maneuver forces from various Police Provincial Offices and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.

The nightwatch patrol teams are dedicated to ensuring the safety of commuters, motorists, and citizens during nighttime hours. Their mission is to prevent crimes, maintain order, and respond swiftly to any threats to public safety.

PBGen Fajardo added that PRO3 is utilizing updated crime mapping, time-based incident analysis, and predictive policing tools to more effectively implement its anti-crime strategies.

“Our patrol presence has been significantly increased, especially in urban centers, commercial areas, and major thoroughfares, to ensure public safety and allow for rapid response to any incident,” she added.

PRO3 assures the public that the police force remains on full alert, day and night, to protect lives, property, and the peace of every citizen in Central Luzon.
