The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has declared the recently concluded 2025 National and Local Elections in Central Luzon as generally peaceful, with no major untoward incidents reported throughout the electoral period.

As of 7:00 PM, following the official closing of voting centers, police officers remained on heightened alert across the region to ensure the safe and orderly transmission of election returns from vote counting machines (VCMs) to canvassing centers. The Philippine National Police (PNP), in close coordination with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and other law enforcement agencies, worked to uphold the security and integrity of the automated electoral process.

In a statement, Police Brigadier General Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of PRO3, said:
“Despite minor issues in some precincts, the voting process was overall smooth and peaceful. We recorded no major incidents that disrupted the conduct of the elections in Central Luzon.”
PBGen Fajardo also extended his gratitude to all police personnel deployed across the region, as well as partner agencies that helped ensure the successful enforcement of election security.

“The success of a peaceful election is not only a triumph for the PNP but for the entire nation. Thank you for your dedication, sacrifice, and service to the people,” she added.
PRO3 continues to maintain its presence in the region until the canvassing is completed and the winning candidates are officially proclaimed.
