The Central Luzon Regional Development Council (RDC III) has endorsed the FY 2027 Tier 2 budget proposals of 32 regional line agencies and 12 state universities and colleges, with a total proposed investment of ₱197.64 billion, during its first quarter full council meeting on March 23.

The proposed programs and projects aim to drive inclusive economic growth, improve social services, strengthen governance, promote environmental sustainability, and modernize infrastructure in line with the Central Luzon Regional Development Plan 2023–2028 Midterm Update.

The council also approved the RDC III Interim Manual of Operations, which will serve as a working framework to ensure continuity, efficiency, and more coordinated decision-making while a comprehensive manual is being finalized.

Among other key actions, the council expressed support for the DILG’s Local Government Code review program and the BSP’s Paleng-QR PH Plus initiative, designated DOST III and DTI III representatives to the 2026 Presidential Filipinnovation Awards National Selection Committee, reconstituted the Regional Land Use Committee as a special body under RDC III, and adopted the DENR’s five-year Banaba Strategic Roadmap.

A report on the 17th RDC Private Sector Representatives National Convention in Davao City was also presented, highlighting stronger public-private collaboration in advancing development priorities.

The meeting was chaired by Zambales Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr., with key regional officials and over 130 representatives from government, academe, and the private sector in attendance.
