CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The eco-friendly running event Run for Mother Earth (RUN4ME) is set to return on April 27, 2025, promoting health, community, and environmental action.
With the theme “Our Power, Our Planet: Himsug na Kinaiyahan, Kusgan nga Katawhan (Healthy Environment, Strong People),” RUN4ME 2025 builds on the success of its inaugural run, which gathered 800 participants and raised funds for tree-growing initiatives. Proceeds this year will again support reforestation efforts led by the Higaonon and Talaandig-Manobo communities in Bukidnon and Misamis Oriental.

Organized by Samdhana Institute and Circle Productions, in partnership with environmental groups, local government units, and Indigenous Peoples, RUN4ME will introduce new race categories—3 km, 6 km, and 12 km—to encourage wider participation.
Recognized as one of the cleanest running events, RUN4ME prohibits single-use plastics, promoting sustainability through refillable water stations. Registration is now open via the Run4ME Facebook page and at Ayala Malls Centrio.
