The Securities and Exchange Commission-Tarlac Extension Office (SEC TEO) partnered with the Department of Agrarian Reform Provincial Office of Nueva Ecija (DARPO- NE) to assist and capacitate the Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs) in their registration to the Commission and in securing all SEC regulatory requirements under the SEC Communication, Advocacy, and Network (SEC-CAN) campaign.
This collaboration was sealed through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between SEC TEO Director, Atty. Richard R. Laus and DARPO-NE Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II (PARPO II) Eden B. Ponio last August 17 at Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.
In a statement, Director Laus said the SEC stays committed to its goal of reaching its clientele at the grassroots level including our farmers, and continuously assisting them in registration and in complying with regulatory reports.
On the other hand, DAR Nueva Ecija PARPO II Ponio expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with the SEC TEO in capacitating the ARBO officers on SEC procedures and investment education.
SEC TEO and DAR Nueva Ecija also conducted a seminar-workshop on the Online Submission of Annual Reportorial Requirements for the officers of the ten (10) newly-registered ARBOs in the province. Topics include annual filing of the Audited Financial Statement, General Information Sheet, Mandatory Disclosure Form and other reportorial requirements needed by the Commission for all registered entities.
