Senior Angeleños to get rice for jab

Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. on September 27, 2022 deployed one mobile vaccination bus to inoculate senior citizens for primary shots and booster doses.

To encourage more people to be vaccinated, resident senior citizens who will receive first dose of vaccines against COVID-19 will get five kilos of rice.

According to Mayor Lazatin, the vaccine-for-rice program, which will be conducted from September 27 to 29, 2022 at the Angeles City Hall Legislative Building, aims to encourage elderly Angeleños to get vaccinated.

With the Angeles City ‘Ronda Bakuna sa Legislative Building’ event, senior citizens will be inoculated with first dose, second dose and booster shots.

Present during the inoculation are Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Rudy Simeon, City Health Officer Dr. Verona Guevarra, and Nurse Supervisor Evelinda Mariano.
