Senior citizen officers sworn to office
A mass oath-taking ceremony of over 200 officers of senior citizen’s groups in all barangays in the City of San Fernando was held on February 24, 2022 in San Agustin.
Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago and Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin administered the ceremony for the officers who will serve for each of their respective barangays for three consecutive years starting this year.
Each village has six officers composed of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, auditor, and public information officer.
“Umaasa tayo sa ating mga bagong officers ng senior citizens groups na susuportahan nila ang mga polisiya at programa ng ating opisina. Gayundin, bukas tayo sa kanilang mga suhestiyon kung paano pa mas mapapaganda ang mga plano natin sa mga kasamahan nating nakatatanda,” shared Virginia Cristobal, City Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs head.
