SGV FOUNDATION STRENGTHENS SUPPORT FOR EDUCATION THROUGH BRIGADA ESKWELA INITIATIVE

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — The SGV Foundation, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, conducted a Brigada Eskwela activity at Marcos Village Elementary School, bringing with it meaningful contributions to the school and its learners.

The activity was led by SGV Country Managing Partner Rossana A. Fajardo, who emphasized SGV’s belief in the power of education to transform lives. “By investing in their education and providing them with a conducive environment, we are empowering them to become future leaders,” she shared.

The Foundation donated funds for the repair of the school’s covered stage and distributed school supplies and snacks — with support from the Rebisco Group of Companies — to all learners. SGV partners also rolled up their sleeves to repaint classroom walls and desks.

Messages of appreciation were delivered by Principal III Rugene L. Tornato, and on behalf of DepEd Mabalacat City Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Maria Carmen P. CuencoSEPS Allan Ornulfo D. Ocampo acknowledged the initiative’s impact on the school community.

The SGV Foundation also announced plans to donate an additional facility, underscoring its continuing commitment to uplift education through long-term, value-driven initiatives.
