SM City Clark employees, through the charity arm SM Cares, has distributed Bears of Joy to the chosen beneficiaries Duyan ni Maria and Munting Tahanan ng Nazareth orphanages in Mabalacat City, and at the Dr. Clemente Elementary School in Angeles City.
SM Bears of Joy, an annual project of SM Cares, SM Supermalls, and Toy Kingdom, aims to bring much-needed smiles to children during the Christmas season.
The goal of Bears of Joy is to encourage shoppers to purchase a pair of specially designed bear plushies: one for their keeping and the other to be donated to children in various communities across the country. Sold at P250 per pair, the plushies were available in select SM Malls nationwide and through the online stores of Toy Kingdom and The SM Store from November 12 to December 25, 2021.
This 2021 Bears of Joy collection reflected the interests and hobbies that many Filipinos turned to during the pandemic: Cookie the Baker Bear, Sunny the Plant Lover Bear, Cammy the Vlogger Bear, and Journey the Biker Bear.
