The culminating event of Mabalacat City’s first ever Balacat Festival was a certified major hit with a combined estimate of more than 15 thousand people flooding the streets of McArthur Highway and filling the 3-hectare Balacat Village to witness the street dance and free dance interpretation competitions last March 03.

The Hauslands became the first stop of the Balacat Festival Caravan, as Mabalacat City celebrates its Balacat Festival, an annual, celebration for the Mabalaquenians to appreciate local culture, arts, history, and heritage.

Mayor Crisostomo Garbo and vice mayor Gerald Guttrie Aquino, along with the city councilors, BM Winwin Garbo, barangay officials, government employees, stakeholders, residents and visitors graced the festival’s grand opening ceremony at the Balacat Village (formerly Crismas village), along MacArthur Highway, Barangay Mabiga on February 27.
