The Municipality of Lubao has received the Excellence Award for Health from the Department of Health. Mayor Esmie Pineda
A downtrend in the number of reported cases of violence against women and children (VAWC) was reported by the Department of Health (DOH) Central Luzon Center for Health and Development (CLCHD). The agency recorded a total of 1,583 reported cases of VAWC in 2018 followed by 1,489 in 2019; 1,160 in 2020; 1,159 in 2021; and 629 in 2022.
The Department of Health (DOH) is targeting at least 17, 000 girls in Pampanga for the massive human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination campaign. This was according to Corazon Flores, DOH’s Director IV of the Central Luzon Center for Health Development.
Department of Health (DOH) urges Central Luzon residents to get vaccinated against influenza. About 112,369 doses have been administered, as of October 31, out of a total of 426,600 doses that were allocated to the region last September.
The Department of Health (DOH) highlighted the significance of collaboration between government agencies and non-government organizations to ensure harmonized response against rabies. DOH Central Luzon Center for Health Development (CLCHD) Nurse V Joseph Michael Manlutac said observances such as World Rabies Day remind everyone of the importance of awareness regarding rabies prevention and control.
